I chose to come to Mary for my physical therapy during my recovery from rotator cuff repair surgery because I already knew she was a great physical therapist. She had helped my husband with several injuries from farm work and my son with injuries from football, and my surgeon’s office told me she was one of the best in the state.
She had been great to help me try to take care of my shoulder pain with only physical therapy before my surgery, and her advice that it was time to talk to a surgeon was right on as it turned out I had a very large tear that definitely needed surgery.
I’m a very cautious person because I’m afraid of pain, and Mary was gentle enough not to scare me but still pushed me to make sure I didn’t lose range of motion or have complications from not doing enough. I have been very grateful for that.
My shoulder is now almost pain-free and getting better and stronger all the time. My arm is twice as functional right now as it was before my surgery. My surgeon did a great job, but physical therapy is what makes all the difference to how much that repair fixes up your daily life. It’s been a long road and Mary has been right there with me even for questions and problems in between visits.
She is so capable and knowledgeable — I have never felt worried that she didn’t know the best way to help me. A little twist in my recovery and scheduling has recently brought me to be treated by Jordan as well, and she has been great too. Their combined knowledge and experience has been helpful as they work together to help me finish my shoulder recovery and get stronger so I can avoid more injuries.
I would highly recommend Mary and Jordan (and I have) to anyone looking for help with any type of musculoskeletal issues. They have been wonderful!
