I started going to Bengoa Physical Therapy for pain in my right foot due to flat foot and plantar fasciitis. When I first told my doctor I was in too much knee pain to hunt and hike anymore, I was told, “This is common with women — you need to find a new hobby.” I wasn’t ready to just accept that as my answer.
I tried physical therapy and cortisone shots — nothing helped. I even went through knee surgery with an amazing doctor who did everything he could for me. A few months later, I began Stemwave at Bengoa PT, and everything changed.
Just three months after surgery — and after starting Stemwave — I hiked 26 miles turkey hunting in rugged terrain with zero pain. Two months later, I was hiking in the treacherous Ruby Mountains — still pain-free.

I injured my arm causing a large hematoma with bursitis and a fracture to my radial head/neck (one of the bones in your forearm). I had a lot of swelling, loss of range of motion, and discomfort. I went into Bengoa Physical Therapy and started Stemwave treatment. I noticed a huge reduction in swelling by the next morning. I also had a little more range of motion in it. After every treatment I noticed progress in my injury. Thanks to Mary for staying on top of the "latest and greatest" for your patients.
